I'm trying to simulate Palmer-Mansoori coal permeability model for combination of different Young's modulus and pore pressure. The problem is when I plot Permeability Ratio vs. Pressure, for E=445000psi and fi=0.001, the curve is not complete in spite of having the simulation fully converged. I wonder this issue is due to the negative values of permeability ratio which are not physically justifiable. I have tried finer mesh and smoothing functions such as flsmhs(x,scale) but they didn't work (I'm not too sure if I applied the smoothing functions properly though).I wonder if someone can help me find a solution to this problem.
