Hello all,
I am trying to simulate an ETC Actuator in COMSOL, i am trying to find the displacement due to the driven force which in this case is DC Voltage driven, i am using the 'Joule heating and thermal expansion physics' the issue with the current simulation is that when the time dependent study values are altered there is an exact increase in displacement, while this is expected to a point, in the simulation it is a limitless linear relationship, I am trying to find how to make the time dependent solver stop at the maximum possible displacement for the aluminium ETC actuator, how would i go about doing this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Kind Regards,
Owen.
