Hello together,
I have a question considering the outputs created by Comsol. I am conducting a frequency domain study in a quite large model with frequencies up to 1000 Hz (step size 1 Hz). Comsol seems to save the solution for the whole domain for every frequency, which of course needs a lot of storage. Is it possible to only get the results at certain points for all investigated frequencies?
I came across the idea of using probes but this still gives me the solution for the whole domain... (maybe I am doing sth wrong here). In time domain it seems to be quite simple to have different sampling rates for probes and the whole domain. Here it is possible to choose the probes to be updated at the steps taken by the solver (independently of the range step in the study settings). Isn't there sth comparable in frequency domain?
Kind regards,
Peter
