I am modelling a DC discharge in between 2 electrodes which are positioned asymmetrically. I am making use of the example model in comsol library (positive column-2d). Both models are attached in this message.
My model is also 2-d. I have introduced the boundary conditions and variables similar to the example model but on running the model, it gives an error.
Failed to find consistent initial values.
Last time step is not converged.
I understand that this error is due to:
1-Wrong or insufficient boundary conditions.
2-Mesh problem.
If anyone can guide me what I have done wrong, i will be extremely thankful. I have checked my model with the example model many times and still the problem persists.
