COMSOL 4.4 client / server version mismatch

I'm trying to connect to our remote server (headless Linux box, running COMSOL 4.4.0.248) from my desktop (Mac under Yosemite, running COMSOL 4.4.0.361) to solve a large magnetostatic problem. Both the remote and local copy of COMSOL are updated to current version according to the tool under Help: Check for Product Updates.

The dialog box that comes up is:

COMSOL Error
Version check failed.
- Client version: COMSOL 4.4.0.361
- Server version: COMSOL 4.4.0.248

Is there a linux copy of 4.4.0.361? I cannot find any documentation on the .361 version- just the .248 version. Can I downgrade my local copy to 4.4.0.248 to fix this incompatibility (4.4, update 2 I believe)? I only know how to download whole versions and not somewhere in the middle of the updates.

Any help is very appreciated.

**************************Update*************************
I found a lot of people suddenly having this problem this week.

I called up COMSOL and they know about the issue. The problem is that the patch of COMSOL 4.4.0.248 to make it compatible with the new mac operating system changed the version number, which makes it fail the version check when connecting to another COMSOL 4.4 machine for client/server style simulation.

It doesn't sound like there is a planned fix aside, from migrating to 5.0.

If you're in the same position as me this week, you've either got to find a PC to install comsol 4.4 on or you've just gotta wait for them to email those 5.0 licenses out.
