Hi,
I have a model of a thin wire inside a big cylinder and I put an electric potential of -10kV on it. I have plotted a graph of E field normalised against x coordinates (which is in the direction along the wire), and I don't quite understand the solution.
So I was wondering if Comsol takes the values from its surrounding mesh and interpolate to the point where I want? (If so, that's going to be quite a problem as the electric field jumps from 0 to 10^7 and that will affect the results when i take the average)
Otherwise, how does it get the electric field values?
Eunice
