what if the transport mechanism is different?

Hi
I am using comsol 4.3a and i have some problem with modelling heat transfer in composite object. the actual problem is regeneration of spent activated carbon in a fixed bed. the way it is being done is that the reactor is loaded with VOC saturated activated carbon and, to thermally regenerate the adsorbent, the reactor is wrampped by heating tape then the heating tape is connected to the power source.

so i have three basic compartments of the geometry , heating tape where there is heat source, conversion of electrical energy to heat energy by the reisistive wires, then the reactor wall and finally the porous domain.

the heat transfer mechanisim and the properities of each is different, heat transfer in solid and porous media.
my problem is the boundary condition between each part of the geometry is in active and i can't get flow of heat from heating tape through the wall of the reactor to the porous media.

So if you have some tips please
Dereje
