Ivar,
Hi, this is Zhengliu from UCLA. I got to know you from the COMSOL forum, where you have been active in giving professional advice on many aspects. I really hope you could give me a hand regarding my problem.
Enclosed is my model. Basically, I would like to investigating the energy dissipation of a 2D piezoelectric bar applied with a shearing load on top and fixed at the bottom. And I couple the piezoelectric module with RF module (Time Explicit). However, whenever I ran the computation, COMSOL just automatically shut down, without even generating the log file or any errors. I think it is not a memory problem because my mesh is really coarse, but I really have no idea about what is going on inside COMSOL. Could you give me some suggestions on what to do to improve the model? Thank you so much.
Best,
Zhengliu
